Volunteer Requirements

To ensure that our volunteers are equipped to make a meaningful impact, we have established a set of requirements that align with our mission to empower communities through literacy. Our volunteers play a crucial role in supporting our programs and services, and we seek individuals who are dedicated, passionate, and ready to contribute their time and skills.

Age Requirement

We welcome volunteers of all ages, with a minimum age requirement of 18 years for individuals wishing to participate in direct service roles. However, those under 18 may volunteer with parental consent in specific capacities such as event assistance or administrative support. We encourage individuals of all backgrounds to contribute to our mission, regardless of age

    READ and REAP Literacy Initiative is an educational non-profit in Nigeria that promotes learning. To build and promote the reading culture. For the past 5 years, we have consistently been reading at least one book monthly. In the Year 2021, we directly gave SS1 students of GSS Gwagwa, Abuja, 150 Financial Accounting Textbooks, and over 3000 exercise books and pens. We currently engage in Career Days in schools and give scholarships to indigent students.
